To anyone who knew Dave Smith of the Alex A Team for more years than anyone can remember, we are saddened to have to inform the league that Dave sadly passed away on Tuesday 24th August 2010 at Home. Dave had not been very well of late and had a short spell in hospital following a stroke and subsequent minor heart attack, unfortunatly his recovery was only short. He had his stroke on the 24th July the same day Alex Higgins died, Dave knew and played alongside Alex back in the 70's and they were buddies, Dave only laughed when I saw him in hospital, He said " It would have been fate, me and Alex on the same day" sadly Dave lasted just one month to the day after Alex Higgins passed on to the snooker/pool club in the sky..............................

We cant belive thaat cry baby intack have sent a letter in, trying to make us play our home game away at there pub, we asked for the away game to be played again and also said that we would play the return game at theres again, but in true intack cry baby fashon because there hot sausages and pie went cold they dont want to play, if it means so much to stay up then feck ya, lose out twice because we are not coming, new faces same old shit, its only a pool game at the end of the day so you have a monday off, id rather get pissed in my own pub watching chris slater kick ass.
